Ash’s mother-in-law has a brand-spanking new iPad that was recently seen swaddled in a bright red neoprene cover to keep it safe from bumps and bruises and the hands of her four unruly sons (one of those sons being Ash’s husband). When she explained that it was made from repurposed diving wetsuits by a company called Looptworks, Ash had to check it out. When she passed along the link to to Kimmy, an avid SCUBA and surf and thus neoprene fan, she swooned too. We also cannot get enough of the sling bag (a lucky winner will get one!) -we love that it’s reversible and you can wear it multiple ways! We also dig this organic cotton jacket! And, btdubs, upcycled tees are way better for the environment than a normal t-shirt (like 400 gallons of water better).

My fave extracurricular activity is skating!
I love to hike, swim, bike and generally be outdoors, but when I have a little extra cash (which I almost never do) I really love to fly small planes. There’s nothing like looking out over your hometown from 5000 ft.
I love to kayak. I don’t get to do it often but when I can it is def my happy place!
My favorite extra curricular activity is garage sale shopping for the perfect things to repurpose in my own or my friends lives….
Favorite extracurricular activity would be doing make-up. As a make-up artist it makes me happy to create happiness in others when the job is complete. I just love to make someone feel really good about themselves!!
My favorite extracurricular activity is reading. Not exactly as exciting as some of the entries but I lurves the books.
I LOVE going to the park with my kids. Hearing them laugh and running off some extra energy is a perfect way to spend any afternoon!
I love to go white water rafting in Tennessee and/or North Carolina! We don’t get to do it enough, though…
I love to mountain bike. And hike. And identify trees. And roast marshmallows. So really I love to camp and do all of those things at once!

We do a ton of hiking and back country camping in the summer. In the winter, we switch over to snowboarding/skiing the peaks.

Gardening, gardening, gardening!!!! Then sitting on my back yard patio and enjoying the work that I’ve done. Smelling the lavander, rosemary, lemon thyme and sage, eating fresh tomatoes and squash, zuchini and cantalope.
I really love hiking in the woods with my dog Reuben. He is so happy and in love when he is running around in raw nature and it makes me appreciate it that much more. I don’t even think about hikinig without him!

Surprisingly, even to myself, I’ve become addicted to running. There is a great sense of focus on what I am doing and I can ignore the rest of it.
My favorite is hiking. I love that feeling of accomplishment once you reach the top and mother nature rarely disappoints.

anything that has to do with heights and speed…i love to climb or just go the edge of a huge cliff and lean over to look down…or go on the fastest bike i can get one…ok…yes, i have been told i am nuts…but i figure that yes, you could die…but i would die having a blast!!!
I love to ski in the winter, and go to Italy twice a year to visit my parents, and one of those visits has to be during ski season.
In the summer, I love to kayak and play tennis
ANYTHING to do with the seaside and coastal places, and shelling, and walking at waters edge is my fave thing to do. Also love taking photos of the sea, the sand, the sky, the clouds, sunsets and sunrises, and unusual architecture.
Another activity I love is anything in the kitchen with family, friends… one of best times was with my best friend, we had a weekend at the culinary institute in Napa… what a wonderful time .creating kitchen delights and memory treasures.
Well, I’m kind of boring. I like reading and sewing. If I weren’t so darn frugal, I would go shopping.
