Joy in My Studio

One of Kimmy’s many nicknames growing up was Kim-bee. Whether she was influenced by the nickname, I know not, but throughout our childhood she had an equal love of bee designs and patterns. She was not so much enamoured of living bees, although she wasn’t deathly afraid of them like our baby brother (who to this day, at 6’3″, 250lbs will run screaming in a high pitched wail whenever a bee is in sight). Regardless, Kimmy had an extensive array of bee-themed paraphernalia growing up, from accessories to stationery to clothing. It will come as no surprise then that when she saw this Sweet Honeybees hand painted scarf by Joy in My Studio she was buzzing with interest.

Given that we both share a deep love of scarves, especially since living in Southern California where our standard ensemble was a pair of jeans, flip flops, a white Hanes tee and a standout neck scarf, we are always on the hunt for beautiful scarves to add to our collections. Joy in My Studio certainly delivers. Plus, the shop is brilliantly sorted by color so you can find just the shade of scarf your seeking for your wardrobe.

ENVIABLE PERK: Vibrant, hand-painted silk scarves, neckties, and paintings inspired by nature and imagination.

BEE-utiful scarves, indeed.
